Xur appears in the game every Friday and disappears during the weekly reset on Tuesday. Each time he brings along a different selection of goods – one weapon, and one armour item for each of the three classes – which you can buy using the Legendary Shards you get for dismantling Legendary and Exotic gear. While the first game only required you to root around the Tower to find Xur each week, in Destiny 2 he can pop up on any of the four planets in the main game. Luckily for you, we’ll be tracking him down each and every week to make sure you know exactly where he is – and what he’s selling.
Where is Xur this week?
This week, November 17 to November 21, Xur is lurking around the Rig on Titan. The good news is, he’s easy to find. You should see his icon on the map upon arrival on Titan, so you know where to head – you’ll find him tucked in a small room, which you can access from the ocean-side.

The best pick here is undoubtedly Hard Light: not only is it a rare, and effective, Exotic weapon, it also looks fantastic, turning your bullets into a colourful laser show. It’s difficult to go back to any other gun. Remember that the Power Level of all of Xur’s gear scales with your level but caps out at 270 (it’s technically all 265, but each comes with a +5 mod attached) so you’ll have to infuse higher level items if you want to make anything more powerful. It’s also worth noting that Xur’s Exotics aren’t exclusive to him, so you may see some of them in Engram drops, and he often restocks some in the future – so don’t worry too much if you have your eye on an item you can’t quite afford. He also won’t sell any of the Exotics locked behind quest lines, or the PlayStation 4 exclusives.
