Nuance Power PDF 2 new features

Nuance says that Power PDF 2 is simple to use, but offers a rich set of features tailored to business PDF use. Its interface is based on Windows 10 for familiarity. Designed for portability, Nuance Power PDF 2 offers a range of touchscreen features, allowing users to navigate, draw annotations and type using a tablet or notebook and a pen or finger. Power PDF 2 has a ‘touch mode’ option on its Quick Access Toolbar to optimise the size of toolbars and tool icons for touchscreen use. Nuance says that new features include improved document security, greater accessibility and enhanced productivity with new add-ons for Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint 2016. These features enable users to create PDF files with bookmarks and links directly from inside these ubiquitous Microsoft Office applications. You can also  read our Power PDF 2 review. There is a focus on greater convenience, with PDF Create buttons added to Chrome and Firefox allowing users to create rich and searchable PDFs from web pages. From a business perspective Nuance is trumpeting what it calls ‘intuitive integrations’. These are connections to cloud storage and document management systems that are built directly into the File menu, so you can open and save PDF files from and to cloud storage services, including Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive and Box. Also expect powerful PDF form support, with advanced support for dynamic PDF forms that enables the software to handle all types of PDF forms available on the web and used by business and government organisations for collecting information. Users can fill out, save and send complex forms, such as those created by Adobe applications.
