QUESTION: I recently performed a clean installation of Windows 8.1. The process seemed to go without a hitch, but I haven’t got any libraries in File Explorer. How can I get them back? HELPROOM ANSWER You’ll be pleased to know that the libraries are still there, they’re just hidden by default. To make your WIndows Explorer libraries reappear, open a File Explorer window and click the View tab. Now click on the Navigation pane icon at the top left and select ‘Show libraries’ from the pull-down menu. Your libraries should now be visible in the Navigation pane. See all How to articles.
