Update 13 March 2017: Following multiple reports from backers that they are still waiting for their consoles (expected to ship in October 2016) and have received little communication from the company behind it, Retro Computers, Indiegogo has stopped all further pledges to the Sinclair ZX Spectrum Vega+ campaign. It has also emerged that Retro Computers last year threatened the BBC with legal action in an effort to stop it reporting on this story, with its lawyers suggesting the BBC was “supporting and participating in a malicious campaign intended to denigrate our clients’ reputation”....

Sony has confirmed that Android Wear 2.0 will not roll out to the Sony SmartWatch 3, which is not a huge surprise given that it supports updates for 18 months after a product has launched. Alongside the flagship Xperia 1, the mid-range Xperia 10 has a very tall and narrow 21:9 display – turn it on its side and it is a mini cinema in your pocket, the same dimensions that many films are shot in. But when a phone’s performance is so poor and unremarkable it’s difficult to recommend. For the price (or less) there are much better options on the market. It’s a shame after the decent Xperia XA2 that the Xperia 10 is decidedly average....
